Time for me to find some travel time and get me some motion going.

Friday we all went out to Saddle Ranch in Studio City. I just love that place. Our favorite bartenders there of course, Rob and Tony, and some nacho plates and quesadillas made the night. Well, we did finish off in Old Town Pasadena with some margaritas after that.

Last night we were supposed to go see Alkaline Trio in Hollywood, I think at the House of Blues. We started out with dinner at that same Saddle Ranch. After that we were supposed to head for Hollywood and grab some drinks at the Saddle Ranch just across the street from The House of Blues, but when we sat there eating too much food, we just felt we were done for the night. We did head over to Hollywood and dumped our tickets though, then we went home to Brian and played Wii Fit and had margaritas with Patron. Yeah, the good stuff.

Tonight was supposed to be a pool party at previously mentioned Tony’s place, or Rob maybe, I forgot. Not really sure what happen to that but Brian’s out somewhere, and I just need to kick back for one night. Just got back from Kupetz’s place and a DVD.

The weather is perfect here now, not too hot. I just missed the crazy heat wave a few weeks ago, lucky me, I’ll live a few years longer for that. Just gotta make sure we hit the beach soon, I need that.

I wish Diana could come, we both do, but she has work. Next time!

Maybe I can score an unlocked iPhone over there… probably not, but I’d like to think still that the US is the land of opportunities… Haha.

Went to pick up my passport today, had to get a new one since I changed my name. Also went and got pictures for a new driver license. I wonder I they’ll let me rent a car with a passport saying Garneij and a driver license saying Magnusson. I wouldn’t let me drive away in my car with this scenario.

But my God (like I have one) it’s beautiful! We’ve been driving around looking for small, picturesque villages by the coast. It’s so beautiful, you can’t even imagine. Tomorrow we’re driving inland about 25 kilometers to a village populated by 1340 people, dating back to the 1400’s or so. It’s gonna be great!

Oh, and our car is a Citroen C1. The tiniest car ever! 1.0 L engine! We have to beg it to use at least some gas just to show us that the instruments are working. I mean, the car wasn’t brand new, it had 9 kilometers on the Odometer. ;)

Things have been insanely hectic since me and D got back, we’ve both been sick, getting our lives in order, stuff on a boat shipping here and God damn it, our cat got stuck in quarantine because the Swedish Customs fucked their shit up. They can’t provide information like they should, so now our cat has to suffer for it. Us to obviously… Man I don’t like government agencies not being able to do their jobs properly.

Well, I suppose I’ll get to unpack my suite cases next week just to repack them for the trip to France.

My old class mate from Idevarlden in Bollnas came to visit her friend Petra in the OC, so we met up and went up to Saddle Ranch in Hollywood with Brian. Great night, and it was great to meet Lina again, it’s been a while. Good to meet her friend Petra as well, always fun to meet new people.
