Magnus Uggla decided to remove his songs from Spotify, saying he’s not earning enough freaking money from it. Guess what idiot! You’re not making any more money removing them from Spotify either, you greedy bastard! All you’re doing is working against the flow. Sure, maybe you’re not making much money having your stupid songs on Spotify, and fine, maybe Sony Music sold out. But now, when there’s a legit option, and by legit I mean legal AND something that the general public is actually embracing, and to that, a fantastic innovation and step towards a new way of getting media to the public. Now you’re just being stupid.

Or is it that you just needed some exposure in the media? You felt you hadn’t been appreciated enough lately? Because as of 1am Friday morning the 14th of August 2009, I’m still seeing your songs on Spotify. I dunno man, it just feels so incredibly stupid. You say you actually think that Spotify is a good thing… But that you’d rather be raped by TPB than ass f##ked by Hasse Breitholtz and Sony Music. How does this compute? Who are you punishing here? Seems to me you’re punishing yourself and your fans.

Sony Music sold out money wise you say, and that the shares ordeal seems shady. But then again, doesn’t Universal Music, Warner Music and EMI also own shares in Spotify? And didn’t they also pay close to nothing? We should just remove all artists signed by these labels from Spotify, don’t you think? We should just “wait for an honest internet service”… Define honest dude. “The way it used to be”? Sure, Mr. Bob Dylan removed all his shit from anything that’s digital, but hey… he’s way old… wait… is that it? Tell me… Should users pay 199 SEK for a shitty DRM-killed e-album for you to be happy? Yeah, that’s they way to “beat” piracy… Why not just turn off the internet. Close the tubes of the internets.

Lastly, would Sony agree to remove your songs? How does this affect their deal with Spotify?

For you non-Swedish folks, the FRA is a proposition to change a few laws and add a new one, giving the government the right to listen in and log all your telephone and internet traffic.

And the US government has a right to look through and even copy your laptop hard drive in the US customs when entering the country… This is becoming a sad, sad world. All I feel is pity and anger. Where the hell is the unity? WHERE IS THE LOVE?

Fuck you government! Any government! I don’t care… There, now I’ve said it.

Now, I am all for improvements in the name of the environment, I try to do more than my share, and I also think people should more often use the public transportation system (and yes, that also includes me). After all, we have a rather well developed system. And I think we could do even better, maybe using some hybrid buses. At least some of the buses in Santa Barbara are electric for instance.

But when I hear how much it cost to take the bus into town from my house, I just laugh. 35 SEK for an adult for the 12 kilometers ($5.50/7.6 miles)! It cost me less than a third of that to take the car god damn it! If you want people to start taking the bus, stop raising the prices like you provided some luxurious top class service! It’s the god damn bus. I hate going by bus, but if it would cost me say 10 SEK ($1.50, which is normal rate for the distance in LA), I would gladly take the bus more often! When I was younger, you could go back on the same ticket within two hours for no charge. I don’t know if that still goes, but I sure hope it does.

Start pricing the way it makes sense, and I guarantee it’ll make a difference for the community AND the environment.

Men nar jag laser om de senaste handelserna hemma i Sveriga borjar jag ju undra… Har sitter jag pa andra sidan jorden och langtar efter gamla goda hemlandet, hur bra Sverige ar och fungerar. Men nar jag laser nyheter som “Vi har lämnat ut alla uppgifter som finns” pa aftonbladet, sa borjar man ju faktiskt undra… Hur javla bra ar Sverige nu for tiden egentligen?

Jag har befunnit mig till storsta delen av de senaste tva aren i “Big Brother” landet. De ignoranta och instangdas land, och jag muttrar mer och mer over hur saker och ting fungerar har. Men snart har jag nog inte sa mycket att langta hem till langre, om det ska fortsatta pa det har viset.
